When kidnappers snatch Mavis Montell and kindly inform the sheriff of the fact, he sends Harry Keaton in pursuit.

Harry Keaton was the younger brother of the better remembered Buster Keaton; he also took part in the family act under the nickname of Jingles. Undoubtedly Universal Pictures tried him out as a comic because Buster had been a big success working with Roscoe Arbuckle and was about to begin a career as a solo star. Harry's screen career was nowhere near as extensive of his big brother; this is a poor one-reel comedy, with all the jokes straining to indulge in puns and confusion, more suitable to the Snakeville series in 1915 than half a decade later.
