Sam and Amelia have had a strong connection since they were very young but when their parents move away it forces them to find new ways to remain friends. Amelia contacts Sam through letters, updating him on her life with important life facts like new haircuts and mean school teachers. After a few months of moving on and attending a new school Sam finally deals with the fact he has been struggling to write back exactly how he feels and how he believed to have let her down in some way. Sam arranges to catch a train to meet her, knowing that the trip will be far. He manages to pen the letter which explains everything about how he feels about her and plans to give it to her in person. But what he did not anticipate was a fierce blizzard which could jeopardise his chances of meeting Amelia for the last time.
