Dr. Arora

The title makes it feel like a titillating show created only to grab eyeballs with the now perfected art of sex, violence and profanity only in India made series.

This one though is though nothing like that.

The back story is so sweet, with a very well on screen chemistry between Kumud and Vidya.

The long forgotten Vivek Mushran really shines - quintessential 90s touch made possible with him in the scene.

There are a few characters like the Baba which are totally irrelevant but the MLA acts so well.

A strong suite is the dialogues.

When the MLA blurts out abuses, his uncle says - "grassroot language does not make one a grassroot leader".

A bit stretched it might be, but definitely watchable.

People who are mature should only watch it. Those who think its about sexuality and this and that they shouldn't watch it. Good comedy acting also is good. Its not only about gupt rog it also contains best comedy. I dont know from which area people are coming who r giving such less rating to this series. Seriously if one could watch altbalaji series one can also watch this.

The series is only about kumud mishras performance rest there is nothing much to offer

One of the best performances by kumudji the way he acted very soft calm and spoke much through his expressions..a lot was expected from imtiaz after his last sizzling series SHE..love story of DR ARORA was soothing

The series goes in a extreme slow pace and there was a good place of humour but was not used..there was no need of 8 episodes..the story kept distracted by other characters stories rather than DR ARORA which no were connected

The climax was not solved probably kept for another season

Watch this for KUMUDJI.

Performances by actors are great but the screenplay just drags on. Too many flashbacks, editing could have been better.

The topic is interesting and had scope if characters were fleshed out more.

And finally there is no resolution of many plot lines by the end of episode 8. What happened with the sex worker? What was the result of new mahila shakti morcha? Why did Baba disappear from plot? And nothing was shown about how vaishali deals with her own family.

So much of wastage of time and yet climax was so open ended.

Excellent performance by Kumud Mishra as dr Arora. However other characters of the series like Firangi etc are not only loud, but to great extent boring all due to bad characterisation and direction. I think director and screenwriter not clear whether to make the series humorous or serious. Theme to give good message is lost due to poor direction and screenplay. It seems Imtiaz Ali has lost his golden touch. My giving 7 rating is only because of great performance by kumud Mishra.
