It's a new concept and it's fun when you watch it in the beginning. Although, after a few episodes, it becomes quite dull. They don't spend enough time on contestants after a few episodes because of which you don't feel connected to them.. you don't care as audience whether they'd win or not. The host is natural and funny as always... But he too doesn't have much Wordplay after a few episodes.
This game show is patently absurd for a number of reasons. As has been pointed out, it would seemingly be easy for contestants to work together to rig the show; it wouldn't be difficult at all. Secondly, and this really bothers me, the show totally ignores the possibility that any of the three contestants who are to determine if the main contestant is lying know the answers to the questions themselves. It doesn't even address this! Many of the questions can be easily deduced through a process of elimination, even if you don't know the answer. Also, many of them are relatively easy and a large percentage of people would know the answers. Yet, we're supposed to believe the ONLY evidence the contestants can go by is whether or not they're being lied to by the "hot seat" contestant. It's absurd. The show is little more than mindless fodder to wind down at the end of the day.
There's some entertainment and one-liners with having Howie Mandel as a host - but this isn't the most interesting concept for a game show. If you're looking for a faster paced show, then I would have to steer people towards "The Chase". I might give this a couple more episodes to see how it pans out, but I don't see much potential.
I think it would be a bit more interesting if the contestant isn't aware of whether their answer is right or wrong after they lock in their answer. If their answer is right, there's no additional incentive in doing an explanation, since they win the money free and clear.

I love game shows!! Although a lot of the questions had to do with the US only, I still feel like I have learned something new (which I always appreciate).
The concept if this game is fun and entertaining.. a bit out of the box. A litte bit different from other game shows, just like the british show "Pointless" who's also different from the normal type of game show.
Howie Mandel did an excellent job at hosting this show. He's a funny guy. The contestants was a mix of all different kinds of people, which is nice.
I watched all of the episodes today, and it has boosted my mood a little bit. So thanks netflix and Howie, this was a funny show, and I hope for a second season.

Entertaining and novel game show, although there have been games shows based on lying before. For what it is it's good fun although the questions seem a bit random, obscure even. I guess the whole point of the show is the contestants don't know the answers and hence have to lie to win but half the fun of game shows is to answer the questions at home. As it's a US show the questions have an American bias but even so the contestants answer more wrong than correct.
