Jack of Diamonds

The pilot episode is flawless but for a brief moment where I felt it could have actually been better just to throw in an extra commercial, or perhaps the pilot could have been cut down to a 90 minute slot.

By the end, I was anxious to see the next episode. I am only concerned by the way the show is headed that it will run out of steam quickly so I hope they have a plan to do something unconventional. If shows like "Human Target" (a 21 century A-Team) are too "predictable" for the modern audience, then TV writers are going to have to step it up a notch.

My son and I stumbled upon this movie on TV Saturday evening and became completely engrossed. The main character; John Bregar, reminds us of a young version of Tom Cruise. I'm not sure if this is a remake of an older show, but the story line is great. It shows what we do for the love of family. John's character quickly falls into the role of head of household and he does an amazing job showing his love for his family. We were excited to see that this was a Canadian film and that John Bregar is an upcoming Canadian star. We would love to see this become a series. We would definitely watch. John Bregar has a bright future ahead of him.
