Ungrateful

I suppose you have to be a misogynist (card-carrying or otherwise) to enjoy Bree Mills' "Pure Taboo" porn series. This pair of episodes preserved on DVD adheres to the "abusing women" premise, and the scenes are poorly done to boot.

Joanna Angel is responsible for the title scene, a dumb sort-of-story excuse to show a girl being manhandled and sort of enjoying it. Maya Woulfe goes to contractor Stirling Cooper to get her house remodeled, even though she can't afford it. He seems magnanimous, and hoodwinks her with a friendly assurance to the tune of "we'll work something out".

When the job becomes neglected and she's stuck in unlivable conditions (not that rare in dealing with contractors), she complains, and he accuses her of being ungrateful, and forces her to have sex with him. Woulfe steps out of character, orgasmically enjoying the experience, yet feeling bad afterward. A very lousy vignette.

Cooper returns in "Easy Pickings", an insulting scene about punk-styled Gwen Vicious sitting in detention when her teacher (Seth Gamble) and school principal (Cooper) gang up on her to punish her for playing hooky. Soon she's in various double penetration positions, giving another lousy acting performance.

The viewer is once again presented with an evil guy (or two) to hiss at, but in fact the show is structured to have that viewer identify sadistically with the miscreant as a vicarious form of entertainment. It's the same gimmick that drives the latter-day popularity of horror/torture porn., e.g., the "Saw" series.
