Look! Firstly this is reality tv, now put that aside. If you liked Selling Sunset you will love this more the houses are fab and the show is less about drama and fashion and more about the business the house, yes they are human so there are some human topic but deep down its all about different types of people trying to make it and even if your not in the house estate business theres plenty of life/ career advice for you to relate too. Yes there is nepotism BUT they don't hide it they talk about it face on, ALL of them do. Honestly watch it, it deserves a season 2 just hope it remains authentic, positive and doesn't go down hill like Selling Sunset where its less about the house and more about there heels and drama with each other. Make it happen Netflix!
I decided to watch the whole season to give it a fair review. Although there were a few entertaining moments (very few) it felt like the Alexia show. Although her older sister, Farrah is in the show, you get the idea that she is Cinderella in the sense that she handles a good majority of the day to day office work because Mauricio is too busy. Alexia gets things handed to her, spends her time invested in office gossip, playing ping pong and going out to lunch. And to top it off she doesn't understand why people think she is the office spoiled brat and unapproachable.
I though it would include more sales of homes that they show us. No in reality we see beautiful decadent homes that never sell or we don't actually see the sale. A few open houses, a lot of drinking and of course office gossip but actually selling, who has time? However we do see the family home sold by Alexia who was... big surprise given the listing.
Well if you are actually interested in seeing homes sold choose another option. If your only wish is to go from Alexia's issue to issue with other office gossip thrown in then this is the show for you.
My advice to the show's producers, at least be honest and change the name to the Alexia Umansky show with guest appearances by Cinderella and Mauricio.

If you enjoy extremely boring and scripted reality tv 'starring' the psychopath known as Mauricio Umansky, then this show is for you. Creepy doesn't begin to describe him or this show.
Why Umansky would want to draw attention to his business in light of the sanctions he's received from the real estate board, his lawsuits for screwing over his own clients, as well as the fact that half of his agents have quit The Agency (yes Umansky's screwed them out of commision too), is beyond me.
The only up side to this show is to further show the general public just how awful these Beverly Hills rich folks are. Family to them is nothing more than a buzz word.

I watched this expecting it to be about the real estate market or the properties themselves, but instead it is a showcase for the vacuous Umansky sisters & other permatanned two-faced people who work in a particular agency.
Despite being related in some cases, and supposedly friends in others, the people who feature in this show spend more time saying something to each other's faces with over the top enthusiasm (and sometimes thinly veiled criticism) then something totally different to other people, or to the camera.
The other star of this show is the hideous fashions which make these people look like they've been dressed at an 80's English jumble sale (which is not a good thing). If you're a fan of people who look like they've had plastic surgery & been primped to within an inch of their life before being dressed in worn out, dishevelled or incorrectly sized clothing, whilst behaving horribly towards each other, then this is the show for you. If you want a programme about properties, you should avoid it at all costs!

So I just watched Season 2 of this vapid show. Farrah needs to learn that she can't control people -- in this case, her friend Melissa. Nor can she control other people and what they say about her relationship. That's life, baby. Sophia cares more about how she looks than about building a career as far as I can tell. They're all shallow and materialistic and competitive (not in a good way). I can pretty much bet that they will never be happy because they don't understand that life is about learning, growing, having compassion for others and just being good people and being ethical. These people have a long way to go to maturity but that's ok. The universe will smack them upside the head......
