The scenes were packed with drama, betrayal, suspense, and action. A kind and modern family living up in the mountains has to fight off corporate encroachment, violent intimidation, and incompetent institutional corruption, in order to keep what little peace of mind they have left in these troubling times. A story that turns from hope to despair, from justice to vengeanze, as good people have are forced to become badasses in order to keep what little they have left.
The story feels so familiar, yet more awesome as we see the characters going through present day problems and take it upon themselves to solve it.
If I were y'all, I would keep an eye on this up-and-rising director.
