The movie "Trigger" immediately tries to immerse us in the unique atmosphere of a thriller, characteristic of the series with the same name. But instead of the expected epic transition to the big screen, we receive merely an elongated episode, contributing nothing new to the hero's story or the series. It seems the creators focused exclusively on the fans, leaving new viewers on the sidelines of the context and relationships between characters. This approach causes confusion, considering the aim to attract a wide audience to the big screens.

The film itself seems more like schizophrenic delirium, hidden behind the facade of a psychological game and ominous music. The behavior of the main character remains unjustified and incomprehensible without the context of the series, making it strange and illogical for new viewers. This represents a missed opportunity for a deep and captivating cinematic work capable of attracting and retaining a new audience.

At the same time, the quality performance of the actors, who flawlessly embody their characters following the established rules and context, cannot go unmentioned. The budget investments are also felt: the film looks expensive and high-quality thanks to excellent camera work. However, despite the visual appeal and good acting, the script turns out to be weak, and its realization is unclear and unsatisfactory.

In the end, "Trigger" leaves mixed feelings. On one hand, it's a quality product with good acting and visual presentation. On the other, it's an example of a missed opportunity to create something new and significant. The film may please devoted fans but is unlikely to become anything significant and memorable for a wider audience.
