Zusammenfassung
Reviewers say 'The Hunting Party' offers a unique premise with a team tracking serial killers, but execution is criticized for poor writing and clichéd plotlines. Melissa Roxburgh's performance receives some praise, though others find acting uninspired. Comparisons to 'Criminal Minds' and 'Alcatraz' yield mixed opinions. Technical issues like continuity errors and inconsistent production values are noted. Despite flaws, some find entertainment value and hope for future improvement.

I would agree with the other raters on this one. We've all seen this formula before: a central character that some Government agency decides that they can't do without (and won't take "no" for an answer), and recruits her to carry out a "failure is not an option" mission. It's nicely set up for a "mission of the week" schedule which, to be honest, I really don't mind. I think the lead actress does a serviceable job, and the first episode had a nice twist in the end.
All in all, I'm going to continue watching this show. It has enough possibilities to keep me interested and the cast is engaging enough. Although if network history holds true, they'll cancel this series just after you've became a faithful viewer.

There are so many things to say. So few good things. The acting is poor and the writing is nothing but rehashing from other shows. The FBI has a Luxery jet to fly to a potential victim while the convict can get there somehow. This may have been a Silo in Applebees TV's Silo not sure. Without giving to much info this has better get better quick because a lot of holes and not much makes sense right now. These are seasoned FBI people but she was kicked out for some reason and they let you know some weird stuff is being done by them for the good of mankind. We will see how it goes but a couple more episodes ought to do it.
To be fair, I am quite enjoying the show. I waited a few weeks and then watched the first 5 episodes in one binge session, so for me, it was enjoyable enough to keep me interested.
The actual plot is pretty crazy and offers up some hectic storylines. In my opinion, they could have been executed better. It gives me vibes of a b grade X-Files.
I do have one bone to pick with the show, and it is probably really small in the context, but...
The team fly all over the country in a private jet, but no matter where they land, they always end up arriving on scene on the same SUV! Like I said, no biggie, but just bugs me a little bit.

It is hard to first get into as it seems like a B movie and doesn't really pull you in. The concept is very good. The non-stop music playing throughout the movie, like an 80's movie, is very annoying and ruins the actual vibe that the show could give.
I like the actors. Not sure about the characters yet. The main lady is good enough to carry the show along. I still just can't get past the non-stop music playing at all times, and I mean at all times. I can't get into the scene as it doesn't seem real due to this music.
That is why movies and shows got away from the non-stop 'atmosphere' music throughout, as it doesn't allow it to feel real.
Like the canned laughter in sitcoms, why keep doing that? It is sooooo annoying.

Now yea we've seen this story line before buy I'm all for a good story line. They are looking for escaped serial killers. The worst kind so there is alot of action and seems to be a pretty good backstory for the lead detective. It doesn't drag on the first episode and you knee deep in the drama and action. The story keeps your attention and while we've seen this storyline a few different ways this is honestly pretty interesting. The acting is pretty good. Scenes are great. This is just the first episode so honestly it cld get way better who kws. I do like Melissa roxburgh there's just something about the way she plays a detective that really works for her.

- WissenswertesThe Pit, which is prison complex constructed on the grounds of a repurposed missile silo, seems to be modeled on the English philosopher's, Jeremy Bentham, monograph on prison reform, more specifically the Panopticon, which is the design of institutional building with an inbuilt system of control. The basic setup of Bentham's panopticon is this: there is a central tower surrounded by cells. In the central tower is the watchman. In the cells are prisoners - or workers, or children, depending on the use of the building. The tower shines bright light so that the watchman is able to see everyone in the cells. Every ward is within the staff's line of sight, continuous surveillance at all times.
