Neither this show nor the Holiday Cookie Challenge have really come together yet as far as hosts/judges for the shows are concerned. Eddie Jackson doesn't seem to fit anywhere he is placed, and he needs to learn more critiques aside from "texture," "salt," and "this is the best xxx I've ever had." It becomes difficult to believe when he says it so often.
Keep trying, though, Food Network, because the contestants are pretty awesome and talented. I do enjoy watching the different techniques used to decorate the cookies, and someday would like to give it a try myself. I don't know that I would want to make such huge cookies, though, as I would be afraid they would be burned around the edges and raw in the middle.
