One can emotionally connect with this film. All the events in the film are very well defined. The background music of the film is amazing that someone can't get over after listening to it. The performance by the actors adds more to the film.
The title "Pinky and Papa" itself gives us an idea that the story is going to revolve around the daughter and father. The film emphasizes on the bond which a parent & child shares. Parents can be rude at times but you got their back even in the worst circumstances when there is nobody to support or guide you.
Overall i can't see any flaws in this film. The film has accomplished all the parameters one looks for in the film.
Absolutely loved it .
Looking forward to watch such more films.

Best short film I watched at last year's film festival. Pinky and Papa is a movie that shatters the idea that only an interesting plot and unpredictable conflicts make a good screenplay. Writer has done an excellent job with a simple plot and psychological problems between the characters. Both characters acted in this film have lived. And the director has done what the story exactly needs. Unexpected big problems in life can take a toll on us and our loved ones psychologically when not handled properly. The film pinky and papa tells how a father should deal with his anger towards his daughter and deal with the infamy that is going to happen to him at such a moment. A must watch short film for everyone especially parents in this era.

In the heartwrenching family drama "Pinky and Papa," director is Shivang Khanna skillfully weaves a poignant narrative around the intricate relationship between a father, Rajendra, and his daughter, Pinky. As the sole pillars of support for each other, their world is shattered when confronted with a situation that challenges the very foundation of their bond.

This decision promises a refreshing take on familial bonds, steering clear of clichés to offer a more authentic and relatable experience for the audience.
As the story unfolds, the audience is teased with the promise of witnessing the transformation of Rajendra. This foreshadowing hints at a character arc that goes beyond the surface, suggesting a profound exploration of personal growth, acceptance, and the elasticity of love. I loved the cinematography and the sound design and also the choice of setting and the color, I don't know if I'm wrong but the yellow setting gave the feeling of something is wrong and bad has happened-is it? I loved the fathers acting also, tough to soft was a great transition and the flow was very smooth and straight forward, I particularly liked the shot where she was sleeping on the bed and only her and the yellow background was shown it looked very nice, I only felt that the image was little on the higher side of contrast and the subtitle font didn't really match, overall amazing! Great job everyone !
