"Chapter Six: A Christmas to Remember"

I definitely didn't have The Rolling Stones as the music to a pretty poignant and nice montage of people getting presents on Christmas morning to end a pretty poignant and nice final episode "The Santa Clauses" on my bingo card.

But it worked well, like the entire final episode, actually. You knew everything was going to work out in the end. Bad guys weren't bad, not really. Good guys were very good. Scott Calvin puts the suit back on and saves Christmas.

Fun. Fun. Fun. (Even despite the cringey jokes).

It took a while for me to like "The Santa Clauses" but I do, and I'm glad I kept with it. Also glad Disney and Tim Allen brought it back. Definitely a stronger second half of the season. Let's hope that momentum carries through to the second season.

When Scott and Simon are running toward the Santa Coat, a whirl of smoke appears in between them. Carol says "A smoke monster? Where have I seen that before?" This is a reference to her role of Juliet on the TV show 'Lost', where a smoke monster (essentially a whirl of smoke) terrorised the plane crash survivors throughout the series. The survivors on Lost also referred to the whirl of smoke as the "smoke monster".

When Carol is fighting the toy soldiers from Santa Clause 2 - Eine noch schönere Bescherung (2002), the impacts sound like metal being struck. In that film, the soldiers were made of plastic, not metal.
