I started watching based on the fact I didn't want anything violent and it had good reviews. I didn't realize it's a Christian based movie, but that would not have stopped me watching, had it been any good. The talk show scenes were completely unrealistic and the producer character extremely difficult to watch, due to the stupid script. The two main characters have so much makeup on their faces don't move, and everything is so sterile. Nothing out of place in their home, cars or clothes - just like real life! Why do so many movie makers think if you put a grey wig on a woman in her 60's and tell her to hunch over and shuffle, everyone will think she is really old. That's not how older people look. My review is only based on half the movie as that's all I could take. Too bad as the story is pretty cute, even if it steals from It's a Wonderful Life and Back to the Future (as another reviewer pointed out).
A heartfelt storyline that lifts our eyes above the mundane to that which is good and beautiful.
A broken family restored.
A movie that positively enriches the soul withbgreat literature and properly quoting the Bible.
I'm not Greek. Nor am I familiar with the Orthodox church but I appreciated the authenticity of the Greek family living with divorce.
The production quality was refreshing for this genre (low cost Hallmark and NetFlick movies.) Just a a few camera angles where the lower budget bled through.
The adult actors were quality, respectable actors. The child actors showed how hard it is to show genuine emotion. Nowhere was there a model trying to break in on the silver screen.
Great movie about life, love and family.

I don't often comment on movies, but this one moved me deeply. Over 50% of all US marriages end in divorce, and it's often due to a series of poor choices made over days or weeks-choices to neglect or ignore the other person. I've been guilty of that myself. This movie inspired me to be a better husband, to cherish the moments that truly matter. The acting was impressive across the board, and the directors and writers did an incredible job keeping the film clean, wholesome, and powerful. I'm grateful to everyone who made this movie possible. It's a must-watch, and I give it a well-deserved 10 out of 10. Let this film inspire you too-take the time to watch it and reflect on what truly matters in your relationships.

I just started watching and had tears in my eyes 15 minutes in. So I decided to start the review now because I know it's going to be an amazing journey. It's a Romance comedy and drama all rolled into one. I wonder why has no one reviewed this movie? It seems like it wasn't shown on any big platform and slipped under the radar. Probably because it's a faith-based film. Believing in God has become a dirty word in Hollywood. For some reason many Americans can watch a movie with Hindu Muslim or Buddhist religions undertones and give great reviews, yet the minute it has Christianity involved, the reviews get resentful, critical and defensive. I'm saying this as someone who is on the fence about Christianity. If you'd check that particular prejudice off to the side, you will find a romance movie with SO MUCH HEART. This is one of those second chances to learn important lessons movie.
The main characters have great chemistry. Elizabeth Rohm looks amazing. The male lead Robert Krantz looked familiar and after searching I see he's been in a few movies I really liked. In the ones I've seen his character is always a fun and joyous dancer including this one. I adore Tom Arnold's character (Johnny Angel), I always enjoy Tom Arnold. The FABULOUS Vivica A Fox plays the boss lady, and as always gives a great performance. Then there is Connie Sellecca playing the mom/grandmother. She is clearly someone who has mastered the art of aging gracefully in Hollywood, although her character is playing a character feeling older than she really is.
This movie is a masterful reminder of living in the now (even though the plot is about living in the past). There are some really funny moments (the uber skit, dropping the kids off with grandma and the 'my man' moment) but there's also many moments you will need to grab some tissues. I usually don't cry during romance movies but did with this one. Please give this movie a chance and watch it.

It came on Amazon Prime right after Granchester and my wife and I got sucked into watching it.
It is so hokey and ridiculously unrealistic. It borrows heavily from It's a Wonderful Life and Back to the Future but does so poorly and with heavy religious overtones. Blech. I hate sappy, moralistic movies where people say things and comport themselves like no other human I've ever known.
If you're a normal, non-believer kind of person, you're gonna laugh at how ridiculous the dialogue and behavior of the characters are. I would normally say this is 1:25 of my life that I would really like to have back but my wife and I groaned and laughed so much it was an enjoyable time. But not for the reason the filmmaker intended.
