Inspector Nalinikanta

This is a Bengali crime-thriller series that follows the journey of a sharp and seasoned detective, Inspector Nalinikanta, played fantastically by Rajatava Dutta, as he solves complex cases involving murder, deception, and high-profile criminals. The show explores the intricate layers of human nature, the psychological complexities of crime, and the challenges of bringing justice in a corrupt world. Set against the backdrop of modern Bengal, the show combines investigative drama with personal stakes, making for a gripping narrative.

Nalinikanta is a no-nonsense, intelligent, and methodical detective but one who projects a bumbling clerical pencil pusher image during his investigations forcing antagonists ad suspects to underestimate him and write him off. He has a gluttonous love for food especially delicacies and focused on red meat.

Rajatava Dutta personifies Nalinikanta and takesthe character to another level. He is one who takes pride in his ability to solve even the most perplexing cases and is always trying to look for means to meet the end.

The only downside has to do with the direction and production which obviously suffers from budget issues but overall the 1st seaon punches way above its weight.
