Palava

Hinged on the drama that follows most polygamous homes, Palava is all chaos. Chaos, especially the one that follows big families is one that has entertained Nigerians for many decades, but Palava isn't one of them. It is reminiscent of Chief Daddy 2, flashy yet bland, with nothing about it being coherent.

Palava is a movie with a big budget and this is best seen in its cinematography and locations. Praise should also be given to the costumes and makeup.

The script of Palava is its biggest flaw. It lacks the fun and drama it should have; the comedic elements fall flat. The musical parts lack life, and RMD's performance lacks fervour.

The cast is filled with big names so it's shameful how phoned in their performances are.

Nollywood delivers hits and misses and Palava is an obvious miss.
