Chambaili

Amazing, poignant and revolutionary. From the speeches to the idea/concept; this amateur film has achieved a lot! Its launch during the election months only solidified its message. Chambaili has become a symbol for revolution, social mobility and change. Its bring hope to this country that yes it will be possible one day to end injustice. Though the movie is a little immature and childish; especially near the ending; the message remains preserved. I hope team Chambaili continues to work in other projects to revive the ailing Pakistani cinema culture. People from the International world should definitely watch it as it remains a true representation of the elite Pakistani middle class.

What a brilliant movie.. From beginning till the Climax, it kept me glued to the cinema screen.. Amazing plot and great cinematography.. I specially admire the smallest of details that Mr. Ismail Jilani and Mr. Shahzad Nawaz have taken care of while creating a hypothetical state (The Currency notes, Car number plates, Flags etc). Loved it !! A Great addition to the Pakistani Cinema and certainly a major step towards bringing the real "CHANGE" .. I would like to congratulate entire team of "Chambaili" for their excellent work. One last thing that i would like to add. It would have been great if the movie was release one or two months earlier. It would have certainly made a major impact on Elections 2013. Anyways, the Change has begun and Chambaili has done its part in it. Good work!!

Chambaili; as a Pakistani film is a great addition to Pakistani cinema. A very moving realistic experience in the world of digital fiction. During and after watching this film I felt alive, again, as a Passionate Patriotic Pakistani.Thought provoking and intriguing at the same time; be it the theme of the film, the dialogues, lyrics, or the story line. Melodious tunes, great songs, very relevant situational yet apt lyrics and awesome background score. I loved the OST Chambaili. I have watched so many foreign films in cinema but the cinematic & patriotic feel of this film was above all experiences combined together. I never felt such delight just because of the fact that it was purely a Pakistani venture which proudly boasts of the tag 'Made in Pakistan'. I watched Chambaili twice in a week and equally loved the experience both times.it is a film that can move the audiences, can bring tears to your eyes with goose bumps over a number of scenes.

In short, it is a great film that every Pakistani should watch at least once in his life and you are definitely going to commend this sincere effort afterwards.

Way to go Pakistani cinema.

Well written and beautifully directed movie. It has every thing for its audience: smile, tears and at the end motivation to contribute in "CHANGE" that is required for prosperous, peaceful and secure Pakistan.

When you come out of the cinema hall after watching the movie you are already pumped up to do some thing ... something which can bring change in yur thinking .. believe in standing against wrong and helping those who are right ...... Excellent and near to real direction and acting. It appeared that actors and director were fully involved in making it a real touch.. you would feel that the complete team was working for purpose and not for money... Job very well Done.. Excellent and Must watch Movie for every Pakistani..

Go and watch the movie with your family.

I'd read quite a few negative reviews before I went to watch this but after watching this gem of a movie I think it is really unfair of the critics to go watch a film made by a not much experienced team and compare it with stuff that comes out of Holly/Bollywood made with millions...

This is a movie for Pakistanis whose conscience is still alive, Pakistanis who haven't lost hope that things will change for the better, Pakistanis whose heart bleeds for the motherland every time they see the dismal state we are in right now! GO watch this...FOR PAKISTAN'S SAKE!

Some truly wonderful performances given by Ehtishammuddin, Maira Khan, Shafqat Cheema, Ghulam Mohiuddin in fact the whole cast delivered superbly and if you watch this movie not trying to criticize and bring it down for its minor flaws but instead to take in its message and true essence, you will come out of the cinema hall with your patriotism refueled, your dreams restored and injected with a sense of purpose and realization that THIS IS THE MOMENT to do something. Must Vote on 11th May! May God have mercy on our nation this time and bless us with sincere and honest leaders -Ameen.
