Windless

I can't remember the last time I watched a movie that felt so aimless and empty. It was such a waste of time and money - I honestly can't believe I even stayed until the end. I could see what they were trying to achieve, but it completely missed the mark. There was no real story, no emotional pull, nothing to keep you invested. It just dragged on and on, with barely any dialogue, and the few lines that were there kept repeating as if they had nothing else to say.

The only thing that slightly touched me was the attempt to capture the nostalgia of small-town life in Bulgaria, but even that was overdone to the point of losing its charm. I felt frustrated and disappointed, sitting there wondering why I didn't just walk out like some of the others did.

Honestly, I don't know how this movie was even allowed to be shown in theaters. Maybe it could have found a better place on a streaming platform, but it definitely didn't belong on the big screen.

Total heartbreak. Total disappointment.

"Windless" is the best Bulgarian film I've ever seen.
