If you're looking for a well written, and directed movie, this ain't it! Could easily contain some of the worst writing and direction ever. You've got girls, boys, and men crying minus a single tear...what!? It's called an eye dropper and water guys, it's practically FREE!!
The Jester himself admittedly puts on a talented performance, and you can tell it's ALL down to the actor themself. My guess is that this person is a preforming mime magician, and if they're not, they'd make a very good one. There is simply not a single shred of support from the writer and director to found in the entirety of this movie. Because of this fact it seems like the movie will NEVER end, and believe me when I tell you, that IS the scariest thing about this movie.
The story line is a rambling, confused, and an ill contrived mess. I dunno, maybe this is why the Jester is POed, cause goodness knows that there is no other motive or justification made clear.
For those critics (the movie's crew without a doubt) crying about how because this film wasn't a high budget project no one should be complaining, but rather should be drinking beer and eating popcorn...What!? Really? I got news for you thick-skull and inebriated, movies, despite their budget, are either a) Good, or b) Bad. This movie takes option b) to a whole new and unquestionably TRAGIC level.
Writing, 1 star Directing 1 star (and I'm being generous!) Acting .5 star Originality 0 star Fright 0 star Total, an exceptionally generous 2.5 stars.

I am a big fan of horror films. So I love to support independent horror movies. So, consequently I noticed this one could be interesting as very similar movies like the great Terrifier. But I was wrong. This can not be categorized as a cheap copy of Terrifier.
First, The Jester as a villain is great. I mean for a b-horror is acceptable. I've watched tons of worst things, including Zombie's strippers. Yes, it's a movíe. So, the big letdown here is the script. It's only interesting 15 minutes. Then it becomes incoherent and impossible to believe if your brain still works. A lot of plot holes, bad acting and the ending is ridiculous.
Second, overall the whole thing is a mess. A wasted opportunity to create something at least decent. So, much potential wasted. C'mon.
Last, I do not recommend this one, even for people that need to choose between washing dishes or watch this abomination.

I remember watching a 10 minute short of this on YouTube around 6 or 7 years ago. It was clever, punchy and to the point. It worked as a short film, but just doesn't cut it as a 90 minute horror film.
There's not enough material to pad this out to a feature length film unfortunately. The 'Jester' doesn't seem as charming in this, that was one of the great things about the short version, he was a quirky, seemingly harmless fun and somewhat charming character who would ultimately do bad things and that worked. Here, right from the off, he's seen as some obviously sinister threat with absolutely no charm whatsoever.
Unfortunately the short on YouTube was so well received that many commenters were crying out for a feature length film. Well, they got their wish, and i hope they're happy, because this, is sadly very poor in many ways.

Buckle up, my fellow horror fans, because I've just stumbled upon a film that left me in a state of speechlessness - and not in a good way, mind you. Now, I'm not one to write reviews, but this cinematic atrocity has pushed me to do so.
I was feeling generous, so I'm giving a single star towards its well-executed special effects, but in a world where 2023 has raised the bar to sky-high standards, this film barely scrapes the term 'special.' Plus, there's a creepy-looking villain who could easily be mistaken for Art the clown's less intimidating cousin from Terrifier.
Let's talk plot, or should I say, the lack of it. This movie's storyline is so nonsensical that it doesn't deserve the dignified title of a plot. It's a baffling puzzle where every piece is missing, and trying to make sense of it will give you a headache.
To make matters worse, the entire cast of characters in this disaster is a parade of annoyance and unlikability. I'm convinced these actors are the remnants of a bargain-basement, last-resort acting class, and their performances are more cringe-inducing than a middle school talent show.
The dialogue is an absolute chore. It's not the kind of bad that'll have you in stitches like Tommy Wiseau's "The Room," but it's the bad that leaves you scratching your head, wondering how in the world this film ever got the green light.
And let's not forget the most essential part of a horror flick - the scare factor. In this case, there isn't one. It's as if the film-makers tried to conjure terror from a hat (literally), but all they pulled out were a few rabbits that looked more bored than frightening.
To sum it up, "Do Not Waste Your Time" should have been the official tagline of this cinematic disaster. This movie isn't scary, it isn't funny, and it makes as much sense as trying to solve a Rubik's Cube with oven mittson. Save yourself the agony and find something else to watch - anything else.

The movie is good until 3/4 the way through and then, it gets confusing. It lost me. I got bored. The Jester guy is a great villain. I wish the rest of the movie was better. I can't put my finger on what it needs. Something is missing. Maybe better music would have given it more momentum? They could have added more Jester scenes and lost some of the boring conversations. The actors were good. The special effects were great. There was some really creepy stuff. It is a great movie for Halloween. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I couldn't tell what was real and what was here imagination and then, I didn't care. It's too bad. I really wanted to like it.
