Thirst Trap

You could really tell the Director of this film really wanted to weave a suspenseful web for you. This film was gritty, tense, suspenseful, and thoroughly enjoyable. The production design was top notch as well. You could tell the story was getting suspenseful, not just by action in front of you, but by the way the colors changed from a happy bubblegum science to terrorizing by the end. Honestly, this isn't the kind of movie I'd normally go see with no car chases or explosions, but I'm super glad I did. In fact I've seen it now more than I know a couple of times. I can see why this production has won so many awards and I can't wait until Chantal's next film to see what she brings us.

Well-written and directed. I love the narration by the main character and her inner monologue, which was witty and enjoyable, especially when she faced the camera as an aside , to make her point.

I was very locked in after a few minutes and some of the things visually that jumped out at me was the all pink coloring and the whole home based in pink. I immediately believed that in real life , this is an extension of the creator and her personal touch she adds to the movie.

It also shows the scary side of any sex -driven business and the risk a woman takes, no matter how she disguises herself in public.

Men just see her as an object, a commodity. A piece of meat

I had no idea what I was getting into, with no idea what the movie was about, and I was kept in suspense and some laughs.

I wanted to write an honest review after watching the movie objectively.

I really loved it.

Right from the start ...it catches your attention .....and keeps it thru out the movie ....the writing.....the acting....the direction... Etc...etc...etc...Top Notch...love the scenes with the main actress . Very sexy and believable......The ending which I wont disclose is amazing and will leave you hanging on to every word..The sound fits the mood!!! This movie needs to be seen ....Cant wait for a sequel....or prequel.. Stop reading this review and go watch it. You will not be disappointed!!!! Did I mentioned that I loved it??? Lol .. U did!!! Production design. Outstanding!

Costuming. Perfect! Everything from the bedroom to walking down Hollywood Boulevard in the big red coat. I get her. I feel for her and I can appreciate her character development and growth and ultimate change in the end. Love the original score. It gave me the feeling of watching something like Blade Runner or any John Carpenter film.

Grace definitely grabs your attention and holds onto it the entire time. It's quite obvious that the Director made her feel like she could do this in front of the camera and feel completely comfortable in this role. Not an easy thing to pull off. Overall, impressive, great job to you, your cast, and your crew.

Sorry to tell the honest truth about this movie but it is wholeheartedly horrible. There are no redeeming qualities in this movie. It looks extremely low budget and there is no nudity (which I know for you chumps is the only reason for your viewing pleasure).

Yes the lead actress is pretty but simply not convincing and a terrible actress. There was a key point in the film not spoiling anything but you'll know.

As an opinion I believe the prior 10 star reviews are blatantly not legit and certainly from people who worked on the film.

Bottom line. So I say this: Please be aware. Do not bother wasting your time.
