Bed Friend

It was an okay BL drama. The leads did a good job, even the second leads but it felt like something was missing between the main leads.

The NC scenes were killing all the time! However it did not felt with those emotions where sometimes when you watch an NC scene you can say it looked deep because you could feel the emotions in it. It felt like it was there just to be there.

I understand the relationship between the main leads were more of a FWB as the title itself redirects to but I just wish they could have developed it and make us see more of the leads' relationship way before the end.

The production however was amazing and they chose two main leads which fit the role. It was just a bit lacking of chemistry, hope to see them in another work with a better story.

"I can stop being a player when I like someone."

The first thing you will notice will most likely be the great variety of steamy scene made even better by stunning visuals and the protagonists' electrifying chemistry.

I especially like some of the comments they casually put into their conversations. For example, when King asked for a reward for not taking advantage of Uea the night before, Uea answered, there won't be any since not taking advantage is (supposed to be) the norm.

Furthermore, I enjoyed the added drama concerning Uea's family that is really not that unrealistic at all.

Except for the sweetheart of a sister, they are truly terrible people as his mother's homophobia is not even the worst part.

Jade and King being there for Uea as a friend (Jade) and later boyfriend (King) is really cute, yet so essential to Uea's wellbeing.

With their supportive, warm attitude Uea's cold attitude slowly melts which has him be more open to his own feelings.

My respect for the great acting, for capturing those beautiful scenaries, and for making such tasteful scenes while making important critical points on social morals and behavior!

Emphasizing on a social issue of sexual harassment against the mute and powerless, this series has proven to be a samaritan. Storyline very subtly conveys the injustice towards certain genders. Plot is simple and drives you through a satiating ending.

I personally loved the locations, drone shots and frames of emotional scenes, coloring, consistent tone of the story, styling and art direction, elements of the advertising workspace. An episode stole my heart resembling a painting. Background score by P' Tommy is melodious. Net-James chemistry was good. James is an alluring man without doubt. P' Passin is a terrific actor with a skill to perfectly camouflage into character.

As the title suggests, the episodes contain a lot of clever sensuality. Every romantic scene has a distinct flavor. In concord with every body else, the trailer got me excited. Despite all the above lines pointing at the reason I watched this series, it does not qualify for a re watch. Also the one objectionable quality of the scenes is the time lapse to react and respond. Editing team should have worked better.
