One of the better C-Dramas for me, the ML (Zhang He) I do think does a great job as the handsome mysterious chef who is now working as a director in a company along with the FL. Have seen Zhang He before in Love 020 and noticed that I enjoyed his character in that C-Drama as a gamer, so I know he is doing a good job as an actor. The FL seems like a match for him as well, unlike so many other C-Dramas I have seen where they make a FL so childish and so young and dependent, etc, this FL is more of an equal to him (although he is her superior at work) because she is smart, doing great at her job, can hold her own on the job, and successful in her own right at work. She only has a confidence problem a few times over the ML's X-girlfriend a few times due to she was so successful and pretty. This is a calm, easy romantic show to watch with some great laughs as well. Not too tense at all; a few tense moments near the end, but that is to be expected. The side romances were fun to watch as well and all in all a nice romantic love story.
