A fantastic 7 minutes brought to us by the partnership of The Goethe Institute Tashkent and students of the Filmschool Tashkent. The director, Veit Helmer, is a German citizen, and I don't know why he chose Uzbekistan for this project, but the fact that this random story takes place in Uzbekistan, specifically at a train station, adds an incredible nuance to the film.

The names of Veit Helmer's other films are available on his official website. It's worth tracking them down and watching them.

The Uzbek language, music, and dances are just beautiful, aren't they?
