Entire season felt rushed and disjointed
This series reminds me of so many other series like Heroes or. The Gifted. They have some super interesting characters and some interesting story arcs but they got lost and failed to stick the landing. A lot of the arcs in the last season came out of nowhere and many of the main characters behaved radically differently than they had been portrayed thus far. It just seemed rushed and inauthentic. It was like reading a book with complete chapters ripped out.
I think a lot of us have multiple timeline fatigue. There are so many shows with multiple timelines. They can be challenging to follow at times, especially when shows go on hiatus for long periods, and you get the feeling of Deja Vu when watching it.
I loved the cast and the characters, and I loved the addition of Mullaley and Offerman.

The authors never found out how to finish it
The ending episode just leaves the gaping plot holes as they are.
I found it dumb to add the move of replacing a couple of misguided villains with a single villain whose goal is exactly the same, but motivation makes no sense, being a variation of "Everyone is going to die, eventually, so I will kill you now because I am so righteous" or "if you live forever, the chance of you getting cancer gets pretty much 100%, so let's get the cancer now and don't cure it!".
The villain change neither affected the story, nor it was even logical. You could have just removed that plot line and nothing would effectively change except there'd be less cringe.
The end-disaster was also lame. Something advertised as a massive cataclysm with the events previous to the last episode reinforcing that point, turned out to be a an ordinary cheap enemy straight from 80s.
The series-closing logic also makes no sense. "You need to destroy all X everywhere, or bad will happen." Except we are told that it has to be done in all the alternative timelines, and we are explicitly shown that it did not happen in the alternative timelines, regardless of the actions of the heroes. Yet it got fixed anyway just because, huh?
I agree with the ending, but the taken actions would not lead to it. It looked like someone had failed, but you still count it as "pass" because you are too tired to care.

If I had nickel for everytime a good show with a 10-format episode made their last season a BAD 6-format rushed one, I had two nickels...
But it is weird that it happened twice, I-.
That's it.
Game of Thrones Season 8 all over again but worse.
Worse because at least they tried to justify their acts, badly, but they did on the other show, but on this one. Well.
No justification at all for how badly all the characters' evolution, and the mid-season plotwist messed up everything once created.
I guess once again screenwriters believe their perspective is the only one that should be taken into consideration.
But then, they fail. I swear to the universe an intern could have done a better job at handling this last season. So rushed and nonsense.
Wow. I thought GOT set the bar high with bad finales but this one went went higher than Mondo Duplantis. Lmao I don't think they can create such a bad finale to beat this one, Game of Thrones you are dethroned! IM----

Well that was a complete letdown
This last season has been very lazily put together, it lacked originality. They obviously didn't know how to give us a satisfying conclusion to the run. The writers seemed to watch a lot marvel, dc, other Netflix shows, classic sci-fi movies and some British sci-fi to. Then copy and paste plots from them, what makes it worse is they didn't care enough to try and hide that they have done this. The end result is a big massive mess of an end season that ultimately going to leave a bad taste in the viewers mouth that have been on this journey since episode one. My fingers are crossed that Strange Things doesn't suffer 5he same fate, and yes they throw a bit of that in the mix as well.
Unsatisfying
Netflix's treatment of The Umbrella Academy is a prime example of squandered potential. After three seasons of compelling storytelling, the rushed and truncated fourth season is a major disappointment. While the show's visual quality remains strong, the lack of development undermines its previous triumphs. This pattern of prematurely ending successful shows is becoming a concerning trend for Netflix. Loyal fans deserve complete and satisfying finales. While it was understood that this was going to be the end of a show many loved from the first episode, proceed with caution, as the open-ended conclusion may leave viewers feeling unfulfilled.

- WissenswertesThe song featured during Five's trip back to the subway is "Dead To The World" by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Another song by the same group, "In The Heat Of The Moment" was featured in Season 1 Episode 5, "Number Five" during the montage that showed Five growing up in the apocalypse.
- PatzerIn the last season, they say to let the cleanse happen so that there's no more time lines, but Lila saved the kids/family, which doesn't make sense because if they all cease to exist that means their kids don't exist too.
