Such a lovely heartwarming film with the very best bubbles, if you dont know about trailer park boys then this won't be for you of course but give trailer park a watch then come back to this you will not be disappointed, bubbles defiantly knows how to capture his audience and bring the love and warmth, it was lovely seeing ricky and Julian aswell, hopefully this kick starts something we want trailer park back to brilliant film with amazing people, i have 4 cats myself and the kitty song is so sad but so lovely, and the end was brilliant cant wait to see more from bubbles and the boys, il be going over to swear net now to watch park after dark.
I'll firstly state that I enjoyed this film so much primarily because I'm a huge fan of Trailer Park Boys. This film is a serious treat for those who enjoyed the TV series, you get an immediate nostalgic feeling seeing them on the screen again and you even get taken back to the trailer park itself giving the fans something they want to see. The storyline is good, but this comes second to me as I was just happy to see them all together again. IF I hadn't seen trailer park boys, would I have enjoyed it? Perhaps not as much BUT this was clearly made for the fans and I absolutely love them for it!
Crazy to think these guys started all this in the early 2000s and still doing today better than ever. Ricky fu*king up words is still one of the funniest things ever. The side characters acting abilities were a bit shaky but the main cast and Billy Bob were as expected. Fun movie and looking forward to the new season.
First, let's start by saying I'm a big fan of the TPB. I've ben watching them from season 1 on Showcase back in 2001. It was a fantastic show, original, and Canadian and as a Canadian myself this was appealing.
The series really ended for me when it was taken over by Netflix and "Americanized" losing its charm. Anyhow...
Now to this "movie".
How many times can Mike Smith repackage the same bubbles jokes? Here we once again find Bubbles locked in a phone booth, this time in England? Did we not see this joke back when he was stuck in a phone booth in Maine?
How many trips to Europe do we need? Good god, they even have the same actors just playing slightly different roles. (Those who watched "out of the park Europe" will get the references).
Bubbles was always a side character, you can only take so much of him, especially when it seems Mike Smith is driving the show (Conky anyone)??
Too much Bubbles, too much Mike Smith and ZERO TBP charm.
It is a shame because if you watch "the trades" you can see they can play other characters and the cast works well together. I did not like "Susan" on TBP but her revival as "Stephanie" on the trades nailed it.
Mike needs to move on, and stop trying to milk the franchise for all its worth. We don't need to watch yet another "bubbles stuck in a phone booth" skit, you have covered it like half a dozen times now?
If you are thinking of watching this... Go watch Trailer Park boys instead. You an reminisce when the show was good and stop at season 8 (Netflix).
About the only funny thing in the movie was Randy's attempt to "earn" enough money to get back home, but again, did we not see this skit already at least once in the past?

Sure! Here's a sarcastic, negative review for **"Sitting on the Shoulders of Kittens"**, with a focus on the character Bubbles:

**Review: "Sitting on the Shoulders of Kittens" - Please, Just Get Down Already**
I don't know who greenlit *Sitting on the Shoulders of Kittens*, but I'd like to politely ask them to reconsider their career choices. This movie is a confusing, fluffy mess of nonsense masquerading as quirky charm. The plot (if you can call it that) drifts around like a lost catnip toy, and the characters? Don't get me started.
Every single one of them needs to *stop it*. Immediately. Especially Bubbles, who somehow manages to be both the most annoying and the least helpful character in any movie I've seen this year. Bubbles flutters through scenes doing... what, exactly? Rambling monologues? Questionable life choices? Whatever it was, it wasn't entertaining.
The dialogue feels like it was written by someone who's only ever communicated via cryptic fridge magnets, and the emotional beats fall flatter than a kitten under a bowling ball. There are movies that are so bad they're good. This one doesn't even earn that honor.
Two paws down.

Want a version that's more comedic, angrier, or something else.
