Totally surprised me! The story felt really authentic and the characters were super relatable -- like people you actually know, not just the usual movie stereotypes. That made it way easier to get invested in what was going on. And the twist? Wow, it wasn't one of those lame, cheap twists thrown in just for shock value. It actually made sense and hit hard emotionally. I was still thinking about it long after the credits rolled. Pacing was pretty solid too --didn't feel rushed or like it dragged at all. The whole vibe felt real, like something that could happen in everyday life, which is kinda rare these days. Not everything's perfect, sure, but it's one of those movies that sticks with you and makes you wanna talk about it. Definitely recommend it if you're into movies that surprise you but still keep it believable. Would totally watch again or tell my friends about it.

This movie really makes you consider how time is precious. What a great love story with life lessons and all the other things you look for in this genre. And I must say the soundtrack is amazing. Some of the best artists in Virginia. The cinematography is top notch for the low budget of this film. You would have no idea it wasn't made for more unless somebody told you. And as I go on to meet the minimum requirement of words I gotta say I think Ryan is an awesome director and the cast was super well picked. Looking forward to watching this movie again. It is for this reason that I gave it ten stars.

Historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, provides a rich visual backdrop, and the soundtrack includes songs from indie-rockers like Guster. Everything about the movie, down to the smallest details of props and wardrobe, feels authentic and intentional.

Regardless of your own personal story or background, you will find yourself relating to at least one of these characters and their experiences.

Ryan Cudahy delivers a deeply personal and quietly moving story that feels as much like a confessional as it does a film. It provides honest vulnerability and insight into the messy, beautiful parts of being human.

The cast is largely made up of lesser-known actors, but they give naturalistic performances that enhance the film's emotional honesty. There's no pretense or showboating here - just people trying to connect, heal, and understand each other. Its authenticity is its greatest strength and you can feel it penetrating through the screen.

It's not perfect - but neither are the people in it, and that's exactly the point.

Director Ryan Cudahy reflects the struggles of young romance, the challenges of life starting out and the bonds of family. It's wonderfully written, acted and directed. And, serves as a great date night film. Set in Virginia, the setting is beautiful and has some really great scenes in historic Fredericksburg. There are some really clever twists in the plot line that leads the viewer through a range of emotions. But, the film resolves with some really profound take aways about love, commitment and devotion.
