I should say that I am gay, I don't hate yaoi/yuri if it's done well, and I personally need a straight woman that fetishizes gay people to use as an accessory. However, this just wasn't good? Like I understand that the omegaverse elements are going to make it a little jarring, but it isn't even about that to some extent. The story and dialogue just reads as fan fiction, and while that's camp and funny, it doesn't make for good storytelling. The cinematography and editing are absolutely insane and the pacing is whack.
The acting isn't terrible and the cast look like they're genuinely having fun making the show, which definitely makes it better, but quite frankly its unsalvagable.

The acting from the cast are phenomenal!
I am understanding Charlie's character more and pooh embodied it to perfection.
The emotional scenes between the lead actors are very captivating and panel is a damn good actor!
Overall, the whole cast are all doing well but I know they can do better.
The racing scenes are more intense than the previous season and they included more racing scenes as well which I find very satisfying to watch.
I would really love that they give us a cute family moments of the two main couples, to heal the angst this new season came with😫.
However, one of the irks i had was with the script writing🤧 whoever wrote the scripts had a lot of loopholes and made everything a bit messy. But I am glad even with the whole thing I am still captivated and eager for each episode! Episode 7 has taken the top spot for me let's see if it gets better😁🤞.

I love this show.
At first glance, *Pit Babe* promises an exhilarating blend of high-speed racing and steamy BL romance-a fresh concept that could have elevated the genre. Unfortunately, what could have been a groundbreaking series ends up as a glossy but shallow spectacle, prioritizing style over substance and leaving viewers with more frustration than satisfaction.
### **A Weak Plot Masquerading as Edge** The racing premise, while initially intriguing, quickly devolves into a repetitive cycle of underwhelming conflicts and half-baked rivalries. The stakes never feel real-Babe's "reckless" driving lacks consequences, and Charlie's "mysterious past" is so thinly written that its eventual reveal lands with a shrug rather than a gasp. The script relies heavily on tired tropes (bad boy with daddy issues, brooding love interest with a secret) without adding depth or originality. Even the racing scenes, which should be the show's highlight, are often underwhelming, relying on quick cuts and engine noises to fake intensity rather than delivering truly gripping choreography.
### **Chemistry? More Like Forced Combustion** Pavel and Pon are undeniably attractive, but their chemistry feels manufactured rather than organic. Babe's arrogance borders on insufferable, making it hard to root for him, while Charlie's stoic demeanor comes off as wooden rather than enigmatic. Their romantic moments-especially the much-hyped intimate scenes-feel performative, as if the actors are ticking off a checklist of "BL fan service" rather than embodying a believable relationship. The lack of emotional buildup makes their connection feel shallow, reducing what should be a passionate love story to a series of aesthetically pleasing but empty encounters.
### **Wasted Potential in Side Characters** The supporting cast is criminally underused. Rival racers and teammates are reduced to cardboard cutouts, existing only to prop up the main couple's drama. Even when intriguing subplots are hinted at (like the tension between racing dynasties), they're either abandoned or resolved in the most predictable way possible. The show's insistence on keeping every side character one-dimensional makes the world of *Pit Babe* feel small and unconvincing, despite its supposedly high-stakes setting.
### **Style Over Substance at Every Turn** Yes, the series looks good-sleek cars, moody lighting, and a polished aesthetic-but these elements can't compensate for the lack of narrative depth. The soundtrack is generic, the pacing is uneven (dragging in emotional scenes yet rushing through key developments), and the dialogue often veers into cringe-worthy territory ("You're the only one who can tame my wild heart"-really?).
### **Final Verdict: A Pretty but Empty Joyride** *Pit Babe* is the equivalent of a luxury sports car with no engine-all shine, no soul. It's not offensively bad, but it's disappointingly mediocre, especially given its potential. If you're here for mindless eye candy, you might enjoy the ride. But if you're looking for a BL with compelling storytelling, authentic chemistry, or even just decent racing action, you'll be left in the dust. **5/10 - A forgettable pit stop in the BL genre.** 🚗💨

Pitbabe has its cringe moments for sure, which are often talked about, but to me, it's only the papa and mama pet names- I got over it pretty quickly though. Besides that (and Babe being a bottom), this show is filled with drama and twists and turns. I personally love the show; it's funny, it's sad, it's thrilling, and it's fantasy. Although I've seen a lot of negative reviews in regards to the second season, I don't really have anything bad to say about it.
They have some of the best couples; one pairing was even unexpected but heavily adored. I won't name them because I don't want to give people even the slightest of spoilers if they don't already know.
Some parts of the plot are cliché, and they even used a trope I don't particularly like, but in the end, I still loved every bit of it, and I was entirely entertained and on the edge of my seat. The first season is still better in my opinion, but that's usually the case with most shows. Of course, I cried in the end (I'm very emotional when it comes to my tv shows), and I spent so much time stressing as it was being released, wondering if it would be a happy or sad ending. I'm glad I waited till all episodes of season 2 were out before starting my binge, as I finished it in 2 days. Watching season 2 made me realize I loved this show more than I originally thought. It's a Must Watch.

- WissenswertesSet in the omegaverse which is where in addition to primary genders (I.e. male, female) one can have a secondary gender of an alpha or omega. Alphas are seen as the strongest and dominant and Omegas are seen more to be weaker and submissive. Pheromones are a big part in identifying the sub genders as well. Sometimes in omegaverse Alphas and or Omegas can have supernatural powers or enhanced abilities as well.
