This is Episode 4.1 (the first episode of series 4) of George and Mildred, originally transmitted on Thursday 16th November 1978. Titled "Just the Job", this episode shows George Roper reluctantly attend a job interview, but is successfully appointed as a Traffic Warden, a position which appears to suit his personality down to the ground.
