Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen

This show was soooo Cute that I fell in love with its characters. Specially SHIROSAKI, the Goofy Boss, who steal the show! Shirosaki through his cute silliness, not only won other characters' hearts, but mine too!

His character was a motivation for both the victims (of power abuse) and helped them cheer up, not by words but his Sweet, Innocent, Cute, Loving, Caring and Goofy behaviour. Even the little kitten, Hakto, who liked Momose at the beginning, fell for Shirosaki when he spent time with him.

Would have rated it 15 out of 10 if possible. I wish there were more episodes not only 12 or at least had a Season 2.

It's a must watch, highly recommended if you're looking for something Cute, Light and Comic.

This show comes across as lacking effort in every aspect. I had the clear sensation from away that I was seeing a drama CD that had been fully animated after the fact. There is not much animation. There is cut-and-paste storyboarding. It's a pointless performance. The incredibly unsightly lens flare-like filter that's applied to every shot is ridiculous. Why did they act in such way? In all honesty, I would be more offended if someone took the time to write this because, in the first episode, our main character basically explains his biography each time a new scene begins. How little must you regard your audience if you're not just copying and pasting every manga panel, without any modifications, into your storyboard out of laziness?

Aside from the adaptation quality, the content is poor. The show has the usual one-joke concept comedy problem, but it also makes repeated attempts to be philosophical and emotional, only managing to come across as patronizing. Basically, every setup consists of our protagonist giving his employer some sob tale, to which his boss responds by consoling him while everyone else cries and applauds. It may sound like I'm kidding, but they really do clap. Several times! For total strangers! It's so phony that they even have background extras say repeatedly, verbatim, how this watching experience has "healed" them. These are people you do not know! You are unaware of this circumstance! With what are you establishing a connection?

There are many stereotypes in our cast of characters, including the oppressed protagonist, the sympathetic and caring new boss, and the nasty, cunning, and cruel former boss. They are just that. None of them have any depth. Humans are either nice or bad. Look at their names; it's essentially black and white morality that never aspires to be anything more. It's so superficial that it borders on cynicism. The supporting cast is also unimpressive, with a phony cat among them. I doubt the mangaka has ever seen a real-life cat and an insecure man who likes an insecure mascot and whose schtick is to insert himself into discussions in order to be insecure. He is the one thing I hate the most about my viewing experience, if I had to choose.

I loved this show so much I binge watched it in a day. It is so funny but also so touching. I love all the characters so much. It is so goofy and light but so nice to watch. I especially love Hakuto, sassy little thing. It is a very well put together show. I liked how they gave all the characters spotlight besides the mains it was really insightful. Although it is a few episodes it managed to really touch my heart. I will definitely be watching it again, it is truly a new favourite. It almost made me cry knowing it is finished .I genuinely wish there was another season already. Such an amazing show fr.

Watching this anime brought me so much joy. I loved the character and relationship development between the 4 main characters. I know that this isn't marketed as BL but not gonna lie, the relationship between Momose and Shirosaki was sometimes questionable, like that one time Shirosaki basically proposed to Momose on the train. But for real, the friendship that the 4 characters shared was wholesome and heartwarming. Each of them also had their own personalities that added to the show, but Shirosaki is still the goofiest out of them all. I also loved Hakuto the cat because he was so cute and tiny.

Since school age, I stopped watching anime a long time ago, and at the moment I prefer animation. But lately I've been getting really bored, so I accidentally came across "My New Boss Is Goofy". I don't regret watching this anime at all. The anime was released in 2023, and where was I when this soulful piece came out. First of all, what made me watch anime and read manga was to raise my mood and gain additional experience in the field of work. The animation is very good, there is nothing that hurts the eyes. Each character has opened up a little bit, which is not even enough. The humor is very warm and relevant here. Especially the theme of "absent-minded" is very familiar to me. I liked everything very much, only the only talking / thinking cat, a little superfluous. I hope that this story will not end in the future and will be extended for season 2.
