Mr. Bateman

First impression is Nathan Weems is not the most inspired option for Patrick Bateman . But, for many reasons, the film gives clues for not compare him with Christian Bale and to see him as reasonable solution.

The film is more a hommage than a revelation. You know the story, you know what may be your expectation. And the remind of familiar scenes works more than reasonable , proposing useful remind of the traits, actions and decisions of the character from novel by Bret Easton. Ellis .

So, a decent short film, noble purpoise, some realistic scenes and precise definion of deep loneliness of Mr. Bateman.
