Stinky Summer

This delightful little film is AMAZING. I have watched this movie with my kids at least 12 times this week. And I love the voices too. I really hope there is a sequel to this film like Stinky spring. I can't get over how realistic this amazing skunk is. And the bad guys are perfecto. It is better then home alone (And I'm a big home alone fan) the best parts are when it gets suspenseful (dun dun dunnnn). It gives me powerful memories of my own summer camp experience back in the 1970s. If only we could go back in time. Ah well. Life goes on. Please watch this film by Epic pictures it is amazing.😍😊😁📸

A delightful, modern romp for kids, that parents can enjoy as well. An amusing light comedy about Olivia, a young girl on her first trip to summer camp. She is trying her best to fit in when she discovers she has a stowaway skunk along for the ride. In the tradition of Troop Beverly Hills, Parent Trap and That Darn Cat, there are plenty of plot twists and the pacing is just right.

The director got great performances from the very talented young performers and colorful character actors in grown up roles. Clearly an indie production, the familliar, authentic east-coast charm of the summer camp tradition is a refreshing departure from some over-grown big studio efforts. This warm, kid-friendly summer-themed movie is a charming escape- any time of year!

Just stumbled across this indie take on the Home Alone genre, when looking for a movie for my nieces. You don't see a lot of movies, made to showcase the skills of girls, rather than their looks. Stinky Summer strikes a terrific balance and was surprisingly fun. If you grew up with the movies of John Hughes, this will feel nostalgic. Writer Jenna St. John and director Amanda Raymond John mirror the seriousness with which he treated his young characters. It's an ambitious project for being so clearly low budget, with a diverse cast and a cute skunk! The young lead on point and sharp as a tack. Highly recommend!

Such a fun movie to watch with the family :)

As I sat down to watch this movie, my daughter was on her iPad. Almost immediately she put her iPad away and finished watching the movie with me.

We both loved the fun and the playfulness of the story. She loved the skunk! I thought there were some really great performances from the Cast and it clearly looked like everyone was having fun making this independent film. It is very nostalgic, as it really brings you back to the fun kid adventure movies of our youth, with brave adventures and campy villains. (pun intended)

Great job everyone! Definitely worth a watch.
