The Walking Dead: Destinies

It's hard to believe how fast and how low the walking dead franchise has fallen. Just 10-14 years ago it was arguably the biggest and best zombie franchise out there, with an impressive amount of high-quality content, like the early seasons of the show, the comics or videogames (specifically the telltale series).

This game perfectly showcases the current state of the franchise. A lazy low-quality cashgrab that just keeps on going.

This game is poorly made on all fronts and does not offer anything of value even for the biggest fans of the franchise. It's like this game was made somewhere in early 2010's under a short amount of time and was put on the shelf due to low quality of the product, but seeing the poor state of the franchise today, the producers decided that it's up to the modern standards of the series and released it anyway.

For a 2023 game, the graphics and gameplay are very dated. Only Telltale has been able to make a good series of games related to the Walking Dead brand. Although years have passed, we still haven't seen a big budget AAA game from this brand. They ruined the game side like the TV series. If the owners of the Walking Dead brand didn't only care about making more and more money without spending money, a game close to Days Gone could have come by now. But after this hour, there's no point anymore. There are too many zombie games on the market. They couldn't use it when they had the opportunity....

I had to review because someone really gave the game a 8 rating review and said the game was "Solid", you must solidly be smoking meth. This game has PS3 graphics and they look like they couldn't even afford a single cut scene with instead using still pictures while the dialogue is playing. No im not joking. What is more outrageous of anything is somehow the newest call of duty game has 4.5 rating on this site but yet this abomination has 5 and no bad reviews?? I rather pay $70 for another call of duty game then to play this. Best thing to do is to throw this game in a trap chest together with the lord of rings gollum.

Hear me out guys, I don't think that the game is bad and gameplay is actually pretty good but the bad thing is just they have poorly animated graphics,bugs and these annoying slideshows when cutscenes comes, and I don't think bad game but also a good + that this game is creative by making you have many different endings and choices which is actually very creative idea and overall it's a very fun game but they need to get better graphics and actually animate the cutscenes, another thing that this game cost 50 dollars I think the solid priv for this game would be 20 dollars, this game is solid 8.

Game has a fun idea to play moments from the tv-show and decide your own play playing it.

But it's just horrible to play with bad. Graphics and almost impossible game play When you have to fight an opponent boss they can keep shooting and attacking while you as player have to try to reload which's being made impossible cause your enemy keeps interrupting it.

Hope this would have been more fun but unfortunately it isn't at least not to me.

It's just the first three seasons I believe but continuing this isn't needed.

Even Telltale knew to make a more fun game which was more a simple point and click game.
