Ganni's directorial finesse, complemented by Saikumaar Daara's immersive cinematography and Srikanth Patnaik's deft editing, crafts a captivating narrative. The plot, a labyrinth of love, betrayal, and psychological intricacies, keeps audiences engaged until the closing credits. 'The Trail' is a cinematic journey that beckons, inviting viewers to unravel the complexities of human emotions.
A gripping suspense thriller film that guarantees entertainment throughout from start to finish. I can say that it is truly worth watching.
Upon closer look of its technical aspects, I got a bit of mixed opinions. Personally, I believe the storytelling could have been more compelling and comprehensive. Although the background music and camera work at good level, a stronger emphasis would have better complemented to the story narration. The actors showcase brilliance, but there is a slight shortfall in brining their full potential.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the film. Kudos to the director and the entire team for their commendable work. Wishing them all the best for their next project.

Let me be honest! Went into the movie with a lot of expectations considering a lot of reviews mentioned in IMDB above. Adding multiple layers of twists in a suspense movie is the current trend. Wholly the movie is built on the same premise of showing a single scene in various possible forms. There is no natural flow in the film. Jumping from one scene to another mindlessly. Acting also seems to be subpar overall although the attempts made by the Lead characters cannot be discounted. Background score also seems to be in shambles with volume raising and dropping randomly and attempting to display the brilliance of twist using the background score for hapless twists is a sad attempt.
Building a negative character is necessary for movies with suspense but that doesn't mean that you bring in mental health and professionals without proper background checks. To an already stigmatizing world, this is just an addition that tries to use the mental illness angle as a possible layer of twist but fails to build it properly. Overall a sad and stigmatizing movie.
PS You might like it if you are enthralled by layers of mindless twists.

This one weaves a thoroughly engaging narrative, and the performances of Vamsi Kotu and Yug Raam are the threads that bind this tapestry of suspense. Vamsi Kotu's portrayal adds an element of intrigue and intellect, keeping the audience hooked with every investigative move. On the other hand, Yug Raam's emotional journey is the heartbeat of the film, pulsating with highs and lows that resonate with the viewers' own emotions. The narrative unfolds like a well-crafted puzzle, and the performances of these two actors turn each piece into a moment of cinematic brilliance. A narrative that keeps you guessing, with performances that keep you invested.
