"Coupling" is a typical JoyBear release from England -you can see the company's style throughout. It is a throwback to the porno chic era where no one was ashamed to make Couples Romance porn.

The five vignettes are relatively tasteful compared to the prevalent gonzo style of porn, and have a pleasant, positive feel, even when dealing with elements of BDSM. As usual, the cast is unfamiliar, not American porn talent (so overexposed nowadays) and not European either, with only UK's Luke Hardy recognizable.

A detraction and distraction here is that most of the actresses wear noserings and are covered with ugly tattoos (lead femme has a large tattoo of a pair of scissors between her breasts -ugh!).

I watched a softcore version of the new video, which ran 20 minutes short of the original XXX cut and made too-obvious use of softcore camera angles and objects in the frame to obscure the pubic area (and no cum shots are shown). I've seen all of Joy Bear's releases, and this showed me that the overall soft approach was not an accident, as the unexpurgated features are quite similar in overall effect to this example of a softcore edition.
