Boring, predictable, unfunny, the only redeeming quality was the blonde lady from ginny and Georgia who is a pretty decent actress. Other than that, the movie was complete drivel not dissimilar to other stuff Amy Schumer has done except being pregnant myself at the moment I just couldn't relate to her or any of the other cringey pregnant themed characters. I'm starting to think Amy Schumer isn't acting but is actually just this sad little person that we are supposed to feel sorry for by laughing at because literally every film now she is playing the same "character." Was hoping this would be funny or atleast decent background noise while I browsed instagram - I didn't find myself laughing once.
"Kinda Pregnant" tries to be a funny and lighthearted movie, but it just doesn't work. The story is very predictable, so you always know what's going to happen next. There are no surprises, and everything feels like something you've seen before.
The jokes aren't funny at all. Most of them feel forced, and instead of making you laugh, they just make you cringe. It's like the movie is trying too hard to be funny, but it completely misses the mark.
The main actress makes it even worse. Her acting is way too over-the-top, and instead of being fun to watch, she's just annoying. It's hard to sit through the movie because her performance is so exaggerated.
Overall, Kinda Pregnant is not a movie worth watching. It's predictable, not funny, and the acting is just too much. There are way better comedies out there.

Watched it because I needed a laugh and like Amy Schumer but she does always play the same roles. It had a good storyline but tried to force laughs from swearing and crassness. Typical American girly comedy to make teenage girls giggle.
It did have potential but instead of making you feel good it got more and more pathetic. Urzila Carlson a New Zealand actress was thrown in much like Rebel Wilson is in all her American comedies to try to make it funny because of the accent. But again there was no reason for such exaggeration. Films are not a maths equation and if you put the same numbers you will get it right.

I kind of liked Amy Schumer, but I've only seen her in one movie before. The main character here is inconsistent and no one would put up with her, even if real life was a bad comedy. And why do all the jokes have to be so stupid? The premise is good and could have been a good foundation for a really great comedy... If only the jokes hadn't been so ridiculous and desperate. Some scenes are ok, or rather they start ok and then fall apart. It's inconsistent and not very smart and of course there is some sort of twirking in slow motion. I hope it ends well for the character. I don't know cause I stopped watching at 50.45 after yet another failed try to make me laugh.
Have you ever told a lie that gets way out of hand? Like saying you know how to juggle at a party, only to end up bruised and covered in broken glass? Kinda Pregnant takes that concept, which could've been a short Family Guy cutaway, then stretches it into a 90-minute movie, and somehow makes it even more painful to sit through.
Amy Schumer stars as Lainy, a woman who starts faking a pregnancy after realizing the world treats expectant mothers better than sad, single teachers. It's a premise that could have led to some sharp social satire or, at the very least, a dumb-but-fun comedy. Instead, we get a movie that mistakes "gross" for "hilarious" and "chaotic" for "entertaining."
There are plenty of opportunities for laughs-Schumer's character sets a classroom on fire, tries to seduce a guy while hiding a fake baby bump, and even shoves a rotisserie chicken down her dress. But instead of landing like clever absurdity, it all just feels like someone throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping something sticks. (Spoiler: it doesn't.)
The supporting cast, including Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey, and Will Forte are all talented comedies. They do their best, but they're stranded in a script that feels like a series of rejected SNL sketches. Even Schumer, who has solid comedic chops, seems to be struggling with material that isn't nearly as funny as the movie thinks it is.
Look, I'm not against gross-out humor-I love Big Mouth because it taps into relatable experiences. But Kinda Pregnant just goes for random shock value without any wit or insight. It's like watching a stand-up comic bomb, only they won't get off the stage. By the time the movie ends with a runaway Zamboni causing thousands of dollars in property damage (yes, really), I was half asleep.
There are worse ways to spend your time, but there are way better ones, too. Like actually learning to juggle.

- WissenswertesThe wheelchair user congratulating Lainy on her fake pregnancy is Amy Schumer's actual father Gordon.
- PatzerLainy attends Kate and Shirley's joint gender reveal party and they all gather outside, around the baby piñata. Rawn (Shirley's husband) is wearing a white baseball cap with red sunglasses around it. Shirley begins a speech, then halfway through (when she adjusts the phone Rawn is holding) the sunglasses have vanished. They then reappear again afterwards.
