      Nabarun Bhattacharya meets Doga!

Brutal, honest and emotional- this film is a brilliant attempt at something new. I would have loved to see a stronger bond between the little black puppy and the protagonist but I think that's being saved for the later instalments. The grisly tone of the film perfectly depicts the plight that stray dogs go through. I myself feed them each night and I know the ordeals. I could see myself in the chainsaw-wielding, blood-soaked Lubdhak. It'd be amazing if the director can bring in Kaal Bhairav, Dharma and other elements from our shastras / pauranik kathas to this heady mix and make it all the more epic. Bibek Debroy's book Sarama would be a good repository to draw from. I loved how the director brought in the murky realism of Nabarun Bhattacharya (ode to his Bangla novel Lubdhak) and blended it with the gory aesthetic of Doga (the dog-faced vigilante from Raj Comics). Wonderful, wonderful attempt.

Bhairava is an avatar of Shiva. His blessings will be with the director. No matter what detractors may say.

A unique concept with cold and hard truths.

A disturbing movie about animals and humans who are overlooked. It has demonstrated how ignorance and egotism may plunge humanity and the natural world into peril.

We've been led to feel that obtaining something can be done and is acceptable, even if it means endangering other people's lives, by a combination of historical misconceptions and a great deal of irresponsibility.

Therefore, the government ought to prioritise developing the vegetarianism and vegetable industries rather than exterminating and consuming mammals (breastfeeding animals).

Animals that are stray need to have somewhere to stay, rest and live.

      AN EXCELLENT MOVIE!

      Greatest hypocrisy movie ever.

Fabulous, Awesome, Beautiful, Nice cringe movie. This movie is proof that how much hypocrites dog lover are becoming dangerous for others... Yes, according to the hypocrites dog lovers only street dog has a name. But what about other animals. I guess others being aren't animals at all. Only dogs are animals. And these kinds of mentality people are dangerous for the society. Just question them what about other animals. I am pretty sure, they haven't any answer about it. And yes, that's why only dogs have name. Others animals don't have any name. Because according to these hypocrites, dogs are 2nd most human species in the world....🤣🤣😂 And they're absolutely true about it. Dogs and other most of animals are becoming human day by day. But today's most human (Especially most of them) are becoming cruel, ruthless, careless, selfish, greedy, hypocrite etc etc.........

      The film is not complete

First of all congratulations to Tathagata for presenting a commercial movie to the Bengali audience. But when Tathagata movie, I expected a touch of art from him. But disappointed.

Concept and storyline are good. Everyone's acting is good. Especially new faces. The most notable among them is Vikram's friend. He acted very fluently. Such actors should be given more opportunities. Hope to see Vikram more in commercial movies. It was very good to see Ambarish in a negative role. Many thanks to the director for removing him from the shell of the comedy and presenting him to the audience in a different role.

Cold room has a view it is made in very small scale. It could have been shot better. The VFX work is very poor.

Tollywood's smart reply to Bollywood movie Animal

A rowdy on prowl for his missing puppy and in the process, exposing the dark secrets of the prevalent dog trade market. Undoubtedly a unique concept for Bengali Cinema ( obviously with manifold Indian movies especially #Lakadbaggha ) and a perfect answer to Bollywood's movie #Animal on the count of gross, gore and graphic violence shown.

As per the performances are concerned, #VikramChatterjee has given his career's best performance and so is the antagonist #SoumyaMukherjee. They both are the rediscovery of Tollywood. #AnganaRoy looked beautiful, although she has got nothing to do, apart from looking nice, barring one interrogation scene with the antagonist, where she has delivered fairly a good job. #SreelekhaMitra acted really well in her part and she has her moments. #AmbarishBhattacharya in his part is very good. His last scene in the movie will give u chills. After the movie #Shibpur, again came across such jumpscaring scenes. #TapatiMunsi is as usual too good. She is a true thespian. #DebashishRoy, #LoknathDey, #DebaprasadHalder, #BimalGiri & #SahirRaj are also convincing in their parts.

Director #TathagataMukherjee has superbly narrated the story with a fantastic style with a great screenplay by Antara Banerjee & himself. Producer #PrateekChakravorty and #AvinabaGhosh under their production house #PramodFilms & #DreamsOnSale have made an excellent project and truly deserve accolades. Music by #RanajoyBhattacharjee, Lyrics by #RitamSen and Tathagata Mukherjee is good. Cinematographey by #UttaranDe is superb and editing by #AmirMondal is crisp. Sound Design by #AdeepSinghManki, Sound Mixing by #TanmoySaha, Colorist #ProsenjitBanerjee, Graphics by #ForthDimension, Art Direction by #BabluSingha and Costume & Styling by #PoulamiGupta have done a fabulous job. They are the unsung heroes to make this film one of the must-watch Bengali films of 2024.

If u r a animal lover, go and watch the movie. And if u r not, u have to watch to know why I am recommending u to watch it. Dont Miss It. For the sake of Good Cinema.
