Arabesco

A duo of robbers (Jonas Bloch and Alfredo Damiano) break into the rooftop of an old lady's mansion and believe they're about to commit the perfect crime and get all the valuable objects or money from the place. But later on they realize there are no doors neither windows inside the place, so their plan must be changed and they need to find a way out of that mysterious place that seem to reveal other strange rooms.

I didn't get much of a wide defintion on their situation or the exact place they got into, and it's strange that some information released about the short defines that they're inside of an imaginary place (I don't see it that way, to me it's more of a bizarre place with secret spaces that messes with their heads and senses). Just seeing the action going on, and the humored bits made it a very curious, funny and intriguing work where the clownish acting of the duo makes things funny and tense at the same time where we want to know what's their next move, what is that place and how they're gonna get out. A very impressive early work by Eliane Caffé. 9/10.
