As Terrible As It Comes

The movie was watched with high hopes as gangster movies tend to be quite interesting and highly tense.

This movie turned out to be badly scripted, to the point that it's laughably bad and makes you either want to cry at the time wasted on watching this or laugh at the seriously clichéd nonsense that it throws at you throughout the run time.

Every character is a cartoon. No, scratch that. Cartoons are two dimensional. In this movie, the characters are just one dimensional and so badly fleshed out. Their motivations are singular and they don't seem to be humanistic or realistic. So many decisions or scripted lines seem to be made or written by immature and unimaginative writers. The acting was also mediocre.

The only reason why this earned a star is because it has some cinematic quality to it. I pity the cinematographer and the rest of the back end staff for having to suffer their art for this piece of nonsense.
