"Who do I want to be?" It is hard for us humans to gauge our progress unless we compare ourselves to other constants of this world. This show truly emphasizes these questions and reveals that it is in fact the concept of Deer that we humans strive to accomplish in life. While we may be unaware of this secret desire, through community (our own symbolic deer club) we can achieve transcendence beyond our traditional ways of life. From the first "Shika" to the last "nun", this show reminds us of our humanity and the fragility of our ideas of progress in life. "Shikanokonokonokokoshitantan"?

The answer to this statement is: "Yes"

This Anime will change your life beyond your understanding, its main goal was to be a comedy anime with a lot of other anime's references, and well, it reached its goal way better then expected. Recomand it.to watch it with the entire family and friends (if you have)or just spam them with memes/ gifs of the show, its one in a lifetime chance to watch such a peak brainrot anime that breaks the 4th wall so easily compared to other animes. Overall best anime ever made besides Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, Highschool DxD(stil waiting for the fifth season), Redo of Healer(where is season 2) and Evangelion.

Absurdist comedy about the Deer and her friends in a school, it's just an absurdist comedy that made me laugh once in a while, but the biggest problem is most of the show is just kind of okay. Not terrible, not laughing, just there.

The English dub is surprisingly good and they are pronouncing in funny over the top way, in The Screams are amazing, but it's just the random kind of humour that I cannot get behind most of time once in a while I laugh, most of the time not.

The biggest problem with an absurdist comedy, is after a while it stopped being absurd and just became normal, predictable so after watching 8 episodes. I begin to space out looking at the screen.

I watch it because of the memes on YouTube, and I think will remember that long after the last episode have lift my brain.

When I watched the first episode, this is way too funny but it inspired from any slice-of-life anime like Nichijou, Azumanga Daioh, etc.

The main protagonist is Nokotan, she's just a silly-looking girl with deer antlers but she has a weird humour towards Toshiko that she calls her "delinquent" and she's formerly a Yankee, and she decided to hid her identity as a "honourable school student".

I really love this anime very much because it has a comedic twist but...no Deers harm in that anime!

The opening song is way too addicting, even the verse " Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan" is repeating and dancing. Although, that song is also too brainrot when it comes to watch this one, and for the ending song, a real-life footage set in Japan is to promote Nara Prefecture, which is a home of wild Deers and how Deer crackers are made.

I give this rating a Deer/10.
