"The Keepers Diary: A Biohazard Story" is an outstanding testament to the dedication and passion of its writer and director. As a fan of Resident Evil since its inception in 1996, this short film means the absolute world to me. Unlike the numerous failed attempts by Hollywood and Netflix to capture the essence of the franchise, "The Keepers Diary" nails it. The creators have succeeded in delivering a true adaptation that resonates deeply with die-hard fans. Their attention to detail and respect for the source material is evident, making this film a must-watch for any Resident Evil enthusiast. Bravo to the team for their exceptional work!
Dear Resident Evil Diary,
Upon hearing that a short Resident Evil inspired film was in development from a dedicated fan filmmaker, I waited in anticipation for the release of the Keeper's Diary. This short did not disappoint in any way. The casting coup is original Chris Redfield actor Charles Kraslavski, from the OG game, plays the titular character, the Keeper. The director's vision of following of the source material is what all fans have desired. The cinematography is breathtaking considering the fan film status makes it looks like a pice of art. The CGI was excellent even with a limited budget. The costuming was on point, but I do have to say, the beret on Jill could have fit better. The set design was so close to the actual game it did evoke nostalgia in me. Overall, this is a short with panache and I do look forward to this team working together again to bring to life the teaser during the credits.
I am itching for it and am sure it will be just as tasty.

This short movie managed to capture the pure soul of the Resident Evil franchise where every film and TV show that has came out failed. The atmosphere is so thick and perfectly dark, The set design is amazing, costumes on point, and the cg is very surprisingly good for a fan film. This film tells an interesting story behind a note found in the game, what an awesome idea. There have been so many movies and TV shows about Resident Evil and they have all failed to feel like they were actually about Resident Evil and it's been painful as a huge fan of the franchise. This short film does everything I can think of so right I wish Capcom would look at this and try to find someone who will make something similarly as faithful and as purely like the games but in movie form, not adaptation. (I'm not a movie Reviewer but I felt passionate enough about this to leave a review so sorry if it's not well written)
I really loved this . Enjoyed this awesome fan film. It stayed faithful to the games this is better then any resident evil movie or series that we got in the past. I really love resident evil it was worth the wait it brought the Hype. I wish that we got something so faithful like this its just frustrating that Hollywood doesn't care about anything like the fans for starts they don't care about the fans for what they love i love this so much iam so thankful that we have so many faithful fan's out there that loves resident evil even though i wasnt around for the OG's i really love it. Capcom hope you are taking notes.
What they did with the VERY limited budget is nothing but a miracle in itself. It is an amazing film, shot well with atmospheric tension, great effects, and impressive CGI (given their budget). Love this, awesome film. The horror of creatures and the look of dying and decayed bodies looks like something out of The Walking Dead. A surprise action scene really, really solidified the danger and threat of the monsters and abominations lurking around the laboratory. The acting from everyone was very professional and you really feel what each character is like, even with their limited screen time. Fantastic work all in all.
