My Friends Are Lying in the Sun

You can miss me with this tale of the privileged rich kids cosplaying victimhood. They make sure to throw around all the buzzwords, so even though they are just as horrible as the adults they pretend to loathe, we'll think they are the good people. And what's their gripe? Their family has all the same problems as every other family, but it's worse because they are rich or something. It's never really clear

It is a nice metaphor for the progressive youth of today. They have no new ideas, and they don't live out any of the change they say they want. All they can do is destroy what others have built under the guise of progress all while indulging in the benefits afforded to them by the system they pretend to hate

I'll give it a couple points because the scenery is nice, and it is well produced, but the dialogue and themes are ridiculous.

Soooo i can't actually rate the whole series because to be really honest, i'm so obsessed with we were liars book and don't want to ruin my own fantasy, but clearly from the beginning it is pretty cheesy. So i decided to watch only this episode. And i must say that this is an accurate depiction from the novel, it's just that the implementation is again, very cheesy especially at the last couple of minute. So i really hope that there will be a movie version of this that could bring much in depth and flavour to it.
