For The Film Lovers

As someone that loves quality and substance when watching a film, this project checked both boxes!!! The storyline and execution of characters portrayed is top notch! I believe when we have our backs pushed against the wall, we all can relate to the response in this film. Many films are merely for entertainment purposes, while others have the propensity to cause you to pause and reflect on how you would respond to a situation if found yourself faced with the same emotional distress and circumstances. It's easy to say what you would do or wouldn't do when you have the luxury of an outside perspective. JOB WELL DONE!!!

Pulls you in and keeps you!

This film is so emotionally profound! The Journey the lead goes through is just heart wrenching. The direction and writing are fantastic and the performances are great. It's hard to find a film nowadays that has such a strong emotional core. Within the first 5 minutes I had tears running down my checks. I don't want to give a thing away but Malcolm Banks handled a very sensitive story with tremendous care. You feel the blood and sweat fight through with every image. I literally couldn't take my eyes off it. If you're ready for your heart to break and then find the strength to persevere, this is the movie for you. It's a definite recommend!

Compelling Story and Acting

This film was very compelling in its storytelling, message, delivery and acting. Some scenes were hard to watch because it really goes there in terms of the revenge that 7ven enacts, but it's worth watching. The lead actor, Malcom Banks does an exceptional job throughout the film, providing a perfectly nuanced portrayal of a loving father who struggles, but is resilient and brave. The music is a big part of the movie's storytelling and I really enjoyed it, along with the imagery and symbolism of Black people's complicated relationship with this country. Overall an amazing film that I highly recommend.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

I know many people may think that people should not take matters into their own hands and let the police do their jobs..Well what do you do when the police is also the enemy? Everyone has a story to tell..Whether it's good or bad, it's a lesson to be learned..I was taught no sin is greater than the other, and never throw rocks at YOUR glass house..I enjoyed every minute of this film..It is definitely a must see..I'm definitely looking forward to a part two, sequel, or even a series..Exceptional job from the cast and crew..Maxin Films you're definitely up next and now..#IndieFilms #Support #Love..
