In the Eye of the Storm

The way the series is made is really refreshing and I really learned a lot watching it. They telling these disastrous events like a time line, with the real story's and videos made by the people who where really there. It's emotional to watch at some times, because they really did a good representation of what happened and what the aftermath really is for people. I really hope there are more episodes earing soon because it's really interesting to watch and also learn a lot more of the things you only see partly on the news. The impact is so much bigger and deeper then i thought and new from the news.

No, this isn't a horror show or about any monsters or haunted houses. The monster in Eye of the storm , the latest and welcomed hit show from discovery, is Mother Nature itself. The first person video and audio from storm chasers to regular citizens is absolutely harrowing and will leave you speechless. These storms you May remember hearing about if you were lucky enough to not have been in their paths. We don't see how truly terrifying it is to live through a tornado blowing through our homes and communities or a hurricane . Discovery has truly hit a home run with this new series and its must see. The horror that you will feel and sadness for these people is great and the respect you have for Mother Nature when she decides to get nasty. The production is very impressive and the way it is showed in chronological order from beginning to end in real time is unprecedented in television. Eye of the storm offers something that I have not witnessed from any Hollywood production because no person could ever truly reproduce the power of the weather. These stories are real and raw and show the best of people in the worst imaginable situations. It's about perfect in the shocking way it is all presented. Must watch !!!

I had a little to know faith that the show would be different from any other crockpot show that just repeats the same thing over and over again with three seconds of footage they tease you with, then you come to find out that's all they have.

I'm not sure how it took so long to get a show about whether like this, but they nailed it. From all appearances it's respectful to the people who lost everything and the people who were lost. It also shows many different perspectives and different storms in one episode, but it's nicely tied together.

There is no part you need to fast forward, and there is no repeated footage. It gets to the point while covering a great deal more than any other series has been able to do this far in the tv era.

The footage is captured by the people who actually experienced the storm their cameos are enlightening and gutwrenching. The stories that come from the victims serve the purpose to hopefully help others stay safe in this storm.

This show makes my wife cry...and my entire family, young and old, watch riveted the entire time. It is quality TV where you can learn how to survive very serious situations that can happen to anyone in life. The United States has natural disasters, many, and this riveting show tells the stories of survivors and those not so fortunate. You will never forget the stories you hear as well as possibly yell s you watch along.

This show is fantastic! It's so well thought out and put together between the interviews, footage, and other additions. The raw footage is fascinating, heartbreaking, and shocking! The people who went through these experiences are inspiring especially when they're out risking their own lives to save others. I highly recommend watching it, it's better than any "reality" show out there. It doesn't get more real or terrifying than what these people went through! I have always been fascinated by storms like these but after watching these first hand accounts, all I can say is that I am grateful to have never found myself or any of my loved ones in such a situation!
