I'm now five-months removed exactly from watching the premiere but am drawn back to this deeply-layered drama in an instant. The cinematography is excellent, the acting well-casted and overall beautifully played. The supporting cast delivers strong, grounded performances to protagonist, Michael Coppola's poignant portrayal of Thom, who embodies one with a complex case of emotional vulnerability all people of life can relate to. It begs the question: what level is pain must one receive to be justified by toeing outside the line without repercussions?

To find he is also writer and director is even more impressive. The entire ensemble shows off an incredible range that makes you not only feel but actually care when you know you would most likely avoid them in real life. Filmmaking at its finest and most Raw level. Would recommend to anyone looking for something unexpected and anyone who wants to spend a night in a grimy old bar without actually having to go in. That Creep From the Bar Last Night absolutely delivers on every level.

Thom is clearly complicated and from the first minute of the film this pulled me in. Does he deserve redemption... that seed grew in my mind the longer I watched. With powerful individual performances adding another layer and revealing more, I was not sure whether to run from Thom or root for him. Great work by the whole cast and crew on making the answer to that question and Thom's journey an unforgettable experience.
