Sunn Mere Dil

Such an old fashioned, slow paced drama, pathetic screenplay, every character speaks so very slow, as if everyone of them is sick. Even the dialogues are pretty okay, doesn't show any 'Khalil ur Rehman prowess'. Khalil sahab has this propensity of showing tragic, more often sudden, deaths in his stories, which is indeed an irksome repetition.

The drama has the vibes of 90's bollywood movies where almost after every dialogue a sound of flute kicks in to intensify the scene unnecessarily. Acting is nice, wardrobe is good, cast looks good but this is what happens when the director and writer aren't up to the mark. Good actors can't run and win this race on their own. Not recommended at all.

This drama started with a lot of expectations and hype, but now it has become just a pure headache. It has the worst story, the worst characters, and no screenplay.

Makers needs to understand that you just can not make any drams in the name of good actors. You need a good story and screen play which this drama lacks big time. Every characters are full of greed. Especially Sadaf's character is the worst.

People are watching it only because of the Wahaj but trust me, it is no longer bearable. Waste of time. You lost a viewer today, I am not gonna watch it from today onwards. Hope Pak drama industry come up with better stories.

Writing this review after utter frustration of watching the first 10 episodes. Never expected this cringe fest from Khalil. Extremely slow screenplay, cringe dialogues, very slow dialogue delivery, loud background music which is making hard to hear the dialogues, pathetic acting and expressions from Maya who is with over makeup. Imagine the female lead takes 5 seconds to say hello after picking call, this is the pace of the show. After watching the extremely well written KHKT and Fahad who gave a masterclass in natural acting , this drama disappointed me no end.. especially my fav Wahaj also shows he is only a directors actor and cannot fine tune the expressions on his own. His star power and fangirls are the ones who are giving these positive comments under the episodes on YT. Else it's a cringe fest and with those dialogues it cannot be watched with Family.

Not a fan of slow script, didn't like it, i was expecting alot from it after good reviews on other platforms, bit too hyped becoz of start cast. Dialogues were cringing, The characters had different sides even writer is confused Wahaj was great, just like tere bin. You will love him for his act.

Excellent but bit too slow, watched in 2x on youtube...poor storyline though .

Omar's character was just rubbish... weird looking Hira mani, unpredictable confused character.

Thankless people, i only watched becoz of Wahaj Ali.. Done with love triangle and slow dialogues.

The drama, clearly intended for a 1960s audience, is poorly written and constructed. It makes unnecessary excessive attempts to make the scenes and situations sad, which feels forced rather than genuinely moving. The writer lacks the imagination to bring anything new to the drama's storyline, recycling the same plot and situations found in countless other productions. Also, the production team's unsuccessful attempts to stretch out scenes unnecessarily and add slow, melancholic music to create emotion fall flat. Today's audience expects real-life, relatable situations and issues, not the same old love triangles and overused romantic plots.
