IT's not hiding anymore!
A slightly confusing episode at first and very exciting as it goes on.
What pleases me most about this series is that it's not just a repeat with more sauce than the previous films in the franchise, but in this episode we are shown that the creators intend to address the root of the existence of It-being-Pennywise.
Now we are no longer faced with a creature like an evil spirit that only children deal with and that others do not see or deny. The entry of the military into the story and their connection with flashbacks to the past of the city of Derry is very well incorporated into the story and promises a full and engaging story in the continuation of the series.

Building tension beautifully - a slower but powerful episode
Even with fewer scares than the first episodes, this one was great. The atmosphere, character development, and mystery around Derry keep getting better with every scene. It focuses more on building tension and storytelling than pure horror, and that slow burn works perfectly. The visuals are amazing, and the tone feels darker and more emotional. I can't wait to see what happens next.
So So So much bad CGi
First episode, pretty good. Second episode....ehhhhhh.... getting a little uneasy on the quality. This episode? Wow, you can really tell this is from the guy that made The Flash movie. I guess a massive overuse on horrible CGI is just his method. The story is going down hill fast, the complete lack of actually showing Pennywise (it's not a huge reveal considering we've already seen him multiple times in 2 movies!) and just bad overall quality has this show going on the back burner for me. I'll finish the season if I ever get time. If I don't, oh well.
all over the place
It's like the studio couldn't decide what angle they were going for, so they decided to go with all of them. The result is a story that is spread out way too thin, and underdeveloped characters. The quality of the scenes goes from okay/has potential to outright 'why did this even make the cut?' I haven't seen worse CGI since - I don't know, the 90's I guess? The dialogue often feels wooden. There are weird lingering pauses at the end of scenes where the actors have to look meaningful instead of speaking a a line, but it just falls flat and feels amateurish.
Pretty Average Overall
The opening sequence was impressive, but everything after that felt underwhelming. I actually liked the old man in the woods - but after the opening, the same problems return. The story moves forward, yet I never really cared about where it's going. The kids just can't live up to what we got in the first movie, and both the dialogue and acting remain pretty average. The Cemetery scene with the bikes looked downright ridiculous, in my opinion.

- PatzerHallorann, in the back of the helicopter, communicates with Hanlon and Russo simply by speaking up, not using a microphone and headphones. Due to the very loud engine and rotor noise, it is impossible to communicate with others in a military helicopter without amplification.
