During the duration of filming, the cast and crew (mostly Floridians) worked in Thirty degree weather, while the characters wore small sweaters and light jackets to not distract from the fact that the scenery shot in was a neighborhood filled with lush greens due to the fact that Florida has shorter, less noticeable winters. The locations appear to be late spring at best.
