Dis-moi, que tu m'aimes...

Young Dorcel star Clara Mia makes an impressive debut as writer-director with "Say You Love Me", a moving romantic drama.

Mariska stars as a mature wife whose husband Jason Steel is cheating on her (and of course lying about it) with lovely Nikita Bellucci, an affair that's been going on for five years. At the same time, Mariska is attracted to her new young handyman James Duval, while Duval is turned on by Mariska's pretty housekeeper Anita Rover.

The lies and philandering by the male characters catch up with them and Clara Mia has devised a tragic, sad ending when Fate moves its huge hand.

The cast features the same talent as Dorcel's recent features directed by men, but besides the obvious siding with the female characters' points-of-view, director Mia also invests her story with more emotion than the often cold, hedonistic Dorcel movies possess. There is less emphasis on genital closeups and money shots, with plenty of softcore camera angles employed.

A plus here is the featuring of many beautiful location shots of the Marseille locale, but one thing is constant: beautiful lingerie worn by Mariska and the other ladies. Jason Steel speaks his dialogue in English, while the rest of the cast is adequately dubbed for the English-track version of this French movie.

An unrelated French porn movie with the same title was released in 2010, starring Lou Charmelle, backed by Canal+, and Mirielle Darc starred in a mainstream comedy by this name in 1974.
