Rosa Adare

Compared to some of the movies made in Sri Lanka this is a movie I watched till the end. I enjoyed it. The choice of cast is good. New comer actor is doing a better job and he consistently staying in same character. The director kept the flow going till end. Has a good ending which wasn't disappointing at all. I've enjoyed couple of movies Harsha Udakanda directed. This was one of the best. I would like to see a thriller movie done by him in the future. This movie has some essence of Hindi movie with a good Sri Lankan touch. Color grade was done nicely. I would watch it again on a streaming platform if I get a chance again.

It was a good film. I had a chance to watch it at PVR and the sounds and colors were great ! Dinakshi Priyasad's acting was the best as always. The main character was done by a new actor which i personally think should improve on dialogue delivery. Some areas i felt he was over delivering but he did a good job as his first film. This film was based of a real situation people face and this sickness is a real one.

The film used good camera angles and not too disturbing to the eyes. Dinakshie is uplifting and carrying the film most of the time with her experience in cinema has contributed well in this film.

I had high hopes for Rosa Adare, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a massive letdown. From the very start, the film struggles with a weak and unoriginal script that fails to engage the audience. The storyline meanders without any real sense of direction, and the pacing is painfully slow, making the 2-hour runtime feel like an eternity.

The characters are one-dimensional, and the performances feel uninspired. Even the lead actors, who have proven their talent in other films, seem lost due to poor direction and lackluster dialogue. Emotional moments fall flat, and there is little chemistry between the main cast.

Visually, Rosa Adare tries to impress, but the cinematography is average at best. Some scenes look stunning, but they are overshadowed by amateurish editing choices that break immersion. The background score is forgettable and fails to elevate key moments in the film.

Perhaps the biggest issue is that Rosa Adare promises something profound but delivers a hollow experience. The themes it tries to explore feel underdeveloped, leaving viewers feeling disconnected and unsatisfied.

Overall, this was a frustrating watch, and I wouldn't recommend it. There are far better films in the same genre that offer more depth, better storytelling, and stronger performances. A wasted opportunity.

Nisala Hettiarachchi worst actor I ever seen. His looks and voice worst too.
