Don't waste your time
Started with the promise of an action-packed thriller in a spooky chaebol house of hidden cameras.
Everyone is backstabbing each other and stealing from the pot, which could be money or ramen!
Poor writing. Basic cinematography. FL, Jeon Yeo Been, very insipid. ML, Jin Young, is just about ok. Mother is overacting. The "villagers" are every single stereotype in the scriptwriters' handbook!
Not a very good drama.

A Great Concept Wrecked by Goofy, Needless Silliness.
Was I the only one who genuinely believed in this series after watching those first two episodes? Because if so, the disappointment started creeping in the further we got into the story.
The core problem here is watching a genuinely fantastic plot get completely ruined when the series started including way too many goofy, stupid, and utterly ridiculous scenes.
Why were there so many pointless characters and absurd dialogues?
This series is a prime example of genre failure. It was marketed and positioned as a spy thriller, but somewhere along the way, the creators completely lost the plot-literally.
The constant shift toward cozy, everyday life scenarios and excessive, misplaced humor eventually turned the show into something closer to a straight-up comedy. For me, this tonal drift was a massive mistake.
I completely lost all faith in this show. I didn't even bother watching the last two episodes, and honestly, I refuse to waste my time on them. The potential was sky-high, but the execution utterly betrayed it.

Identity Crisis
Thriller x Romance x Comedy. Does it work? For me not really. There were maybe 15% thriller/action part, 35% romance and 45% comedy. Oh yeah, and 5% transition scenes.
There are twists. One good one and some action. But that is not the main point. Comedy holds the main course with abundance of side characters. From the housemaid, head servant, driver, to the small town moms, kindergarten headmistress, strawberry growers' best friend, and even the small time real estate owner.
No doubt main actress is good and fitting for the role. But maybe a little underwhelming as a body guard. So are the villains, especially the sister. She just oozing badass kinds vibe.
Maybe 3 episodes can be edited out. Pace is slow until some urgency changes the speed. Romance of 3 couples and an extra filler at the end.
If you must, watch it. But it's time you won't have back.

Great start but has dumb scenes
Who uses a gun as a close range weapon? Was parrid but did it again? How can a very rich person not do anything while in fact in the first episodes it should they are capable of anything? Classic example of smart characters doing dumb things out of character. You invest so much time on this series and they insert senseless scenes.
Good and bad
Some positives and some negatives. The story held my interest. The male lead seemed warm and likeable, but the female lead was a bit cold and imperious. I didn't feel much connection between the two of them. Couldn't she have at least put her arms around him when they finally kissed? She acted as if she could barely stand to touch the poor guy.
By the way, teachers who specialize in early child education (kindergarten and pre-school) are committed, trained professionals, although no viewer would get that from this drama. A kindergarten teacher would never leave children unsupervised or allow random people to wander into the classroom. It would have been nice if we could have seen the FL actually teaching something (yep, there's actually a curriculum) or doing something other than reading a picture book to the class-which any parent could do.
Most of the energy in the script centered on the main conflict and the FL's various problems. The script just didn't give the secondary characters, who were apparently supposed to be a group of lovable eccentrics, any good material to work with. The over-acting of the semi-hysterical principal, the dopey dancer, the guy who was supposedly possessed by spirits, as well as some of others was painful to watch.
Not my favorite K-drama of the year.
Six stars.
